More about Paige
Experience
I am a therapist with 20+ years working with children, adolescents and young adults. I have extensive experience with neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, and many other challenges clients and their families may face.
Clinical Approaches
I am trained in Internal Family Systems, play therapy, and come from a person-centered approach. What does all of that mean for clients? That I believe healing is possible and I am going to engage the client as an expert in their system to help facilitate healing.
Clients
Clients I work best with are highly motivated towards healing, and want to be an engaged partner in their therapy journey. Families of children I work with want to participate in their child’s journey and support the therapeutic process.
Play & Family therapy
I believe that young children use play as their primary form of communication and healing. Thus, play is the primary mode of therapy with young children. Clients will find a variety of toys and art activities available that we use to aid in building relationship, addressing challenges, and healing.
I believe that family involvement is key in working with young children. How we do this is individualized based on the child & family, but communication is clear and continual.
Offerings
Adolescents & Young Adults
As we develop, we move out of play and into other modalities of healing; this is where talking, art, and other ways of interacting begin to shine in therapy. I am trained in several modalities but view the client: therapist relationship to be key in working with adolescents and emerging adults. I approach this work from a neurodevelopmental lens, as well as with a trauma informed approach. This means I am considering how a client’s brain works given their developmental stage and potential neurodivergence, as well as how trauma may have impacted them and their well-being.
Training and Consultation
I offer a variety of trainings on request, holding certifications as a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) trainer; Mental Health First Aid trainer, and offer several other trainings including Trauma Informed Teaching.
I also offer consultation to schools to aid in programming for students to better support their mental health. These consultations can be provided for individual clients or to schools who would like guidance in better supporting their students while providing education.
Clinical Supervision
I have been providing clinical supervision to new and learning clinicians for many years, and have a strong passion in aiding clinicians learn skills, gain confidence, and find their own clinical voice and approach. I am SIFI trained and have experience providing individual and group supervision. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I can provide supervision to LMSW, LCSW, LPCA, and LPCs.

What do we do in therapy?
We work as partners to help you achieve the goals you set.
Therapy starts out with a better understanding of your needs & challenges, us being on the same page about what your goals are, and determining a plan for moving forward towards your goals.
This looks different for different clients. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we play or do art. We are always holding space and working at your pace. I am a patient, playful, engaged, and compassionate therapist.
