Paige Bartels, LCSW

I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years. My entire career has been spent working closely with children, adolescents, families and young adults. I have worked closely with children and families involved in the foster care system, in a school for children with behavioral and emotional challenges as a clinician, started an Autism Evaluation Program, and most recently worked in higher education for eight years, directing a college counseling center.

I have specialized training in working with:

Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, etc)
Anxiety
LGBTQIA++
Trauma

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Play Therapy

My approach tends to be down to earth, honest, and approachable. If you are looking for a “blank page” therapist, we are probably not a good fit. I believe that it’s important to build a strong relationship with clients, no matter their age, and let clients lead the work with my job being a guide to provide the path and support along the way towards meeting goals and working towards healing and functioning at our best.

If you are the caregiver of a child or adolescent, or a young adult looking for your own therapy, I’d be happy to schedule a consultation call to see if we are a good fit.

When I’m not providing therapy, you can find me enjoying time with my family- we love to play games and be in the outdoors. I have a wide variety of hobbies I love- knitting & crocheting, baking, and occasionally photography. I also love to learn new things.

Values Statement

I am committed to ensuring that my therapeutic space feels safe for all, paying particular attention to members of marginalized communities such as People of Color, LGBTQIA++, neurodivergent people, Indigenous people, and people with disabilities.
