Play Therapy
Play therapy is aimed towards younger children working through navigating big feelings, finding ways to cope with difficult situations, and heal from trauma. Play therapy with Paige is a combination of child led therapy, family work, and skill building. Play therapy uses toys, art, and books to support children and meet them where they are developmentally.
Family Therapy
Therapy with children requires some caregiver involvement. This may include full family sessions, and it may look like regular communication with caregivers or caregiver sessions. Communication with caregivers plays a critical role in helping children meet therapy goals, and I work with each family to develop the best plan together.
Individual therapy
Individual therapy with Paige utilizes several modalities but is guided by a person centered approach from an Internal Family System lens. What does this mean?
It means I believe that you are the expert in your system, and we will use your expertise to help guide you towards your goals and healing.
I use alot of humor, sometimes art, and talking in sessions. I work at my client’s pace, and know that the relationship with your therapist is foundational in healing.
